Study 1: Reduction of wrinkle depth

In this study, 114 women aged between 45 and 65 years were given either 2.5 grams of VERISOL® or a placebo once daily for eight weeks. The participants' facial wrinkles were measured after four weeks of use and after the full eight weeks of use. Measurements were also taken four weeks after the last dose of collagen was consumed. After eight weeks, the average reduction in wrinkles was measured to be 20.1%. For one participant, this reduction was as high as 49.9%. Additionally, a positive long-term effect was observed among the participants. Results were still visible four weeks after the last dose. The conclusion of this study was that the intake of collagen powder (specific bioactive collagen peptides) reduces skin wrinkles and has a positive effect on building the basic structure of the skin.

Study 2: Improvement of skin elasticity

In a second study focusing on the effectiveness of collagen hydrolysate, skin aging was studied. 69 women aged between 35 and 55 years were given 2.5 grams, 5 grams, or a placebo for eight weeks. Each group consisted of 23 subjects. Skin elasticity, skin moisture, skin moisture loss, and skin roughness were objectively measured before the first oral administration of collagen or the placebo. This was repeated after four and eight weeks of regular intake. The study showed a significant improvement in skin elasticity in the group that had taken VERISOL® collagen compared to the placebo group.

Study 3: Reduction of cellulite

This study targeted the cellulite of women with a healthy weight and women who were overweight. 105 women aged between 24 and 50 years were examined. For six months, they were given 2.5 grams of collagen or a placebo daily. The amount of cellulite was determined before the study, after three months of use, and after six months of use. Based on the data, it can be concluded that long-term use of collagen powder (bioactive collagen peptides) leads to an improvement in cellulite and has a positive influence on skin health.

Yes, indeed! If you remove the label, the Yummygums pots are recyclable. The transparent pots are made from rPET. An rPET pot is made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It might sound complicated, but essentially, it consists of previously used PET plastic. This makes our new pots 100% recycled and recyclable! Very responsible indeed.
